Friday Date with the men from The Lord of the Rings!

You all know how I love to date fictional characters but who’s on Jan Raymond’s ‘date’ list?

On top is…the one and only…no, no, it’s not one…let me see…Okay, it’s a group we all love…fearless soldiers…archer, beyond this world…little men…elves…oh, yes, it’s the men from The Lord of the Rings!

I have to confess that some of these men might be on my date list, too! And, yes, I think most of us have been dating them more than once 🙂 The best part with fictional characters is that we can date them as much as we want and envision them to be just the way we like…that is, if the characters are from a book 😉  Take a look what else is on Jan Raymond‘s reading list…

Here are some of Jan Raymond’s favorite fantasy reads:

We all love Harry Potter and his gang! He is unique. Weird. Brave. Loyal. And Harry Potter books are definitely something everyone should read at least once.

The Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy…this is a classic one, too. So if you have not read it, or at least seen the movie, run to your nearest bookstore and get it today.

GAME-OF-THRONES

Oh, I love this one…Game of Thrones… Jon Snow, Rob Stark, Khal Drago…Oops..I got side tracked. Anyway, Game of Thrones is not for the weak hearted. It’s cruel, intelligent, brutal…and oh so addictive!

Eragon…Who wouldn’t want to fly with the dragon! Epic!

The Hunger Games…This series is one of the most popular YA series at the moment. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 just came out on a movies, but if you haven’t read this series, you should. In my opinion the books are way better than the movies…shhh… and that said, I can honestly say that these books are one of the bests I’ve ever read.

The Gunslinger by Stephen King…a classic…do I have to say more. Stephen King is one of the authors that the other authors can learn so much. I bow before his talent.

As a Friday Fun, Jan Raymond has made a game for you! Want to know what it is…

…It’s The Lord of the Rings Trivia!!! I’m so excited! Okay, are you ready? And no cheating! I will reveal the right answers tomorrow. Jan, the stage is yours.

About jenniferloiske

Jennifer Loiske lives in Finland in Naantali, which is a small sunny town on the southwest coast. She is a pre-school teacher by profession but she stayed at home when her youngest daughter suffered brain fever, which developed severe epilepsy in 2004. She is a workaholic Teen/Young Adult author, who loves dark fantasy, teen movies, chips and candies and warm sunny days. She’s also very keen on charity work and a big part of her royalties goes to the charity; mainly to help families with epileptic children but also to the epilepsy units in the hospitals. As a huge fan of dark novels Jennifer's bookshelf is full of books from L.J. Smith, Alyson Noel, Stephanie Meyer, Chloe Neill, Michelle Rowen, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Amanda Hocking and Lauren Kate. She’s also a huge fan of music from Evanescence, Linkin Park, Within Temptation, OneRepublic and Disturbed. But her hunger for music is endless and depend on what mood she’s in or what kind of book she’s working on. She can be pretty much an omnivore when it comes to music.
