Meet my dear friend, Marie Godley! We’ve traveled a long path together, got each other’s backs when needed and shared so many writing secrets that I stopped counting a long time ago. Marie is an expert of shape shifters, so if you love all things magical, spiced up with shape shifter panthers, her new book, Janalya, might be your next read! Please, give her a warm welcome!
Thank you, Jen! I’m Marie Godley and I live in the south of England, luckily enough near the sea. My family and the scenery here are the inspiration for some of my characters and stories.I started writing whilst I was working in a school library but I now write full time, except looking after my family, of course! My books range in ages from under fives to teenagers. I like having a fantasy element to my stories because it allows you to use your imagination, also I am a big kid at heart. Jen invited me over to her blog today to tell you about some shape shifters – we all know how much she likes them, her brilliant Shape Shifter series of books are loved by many – but mine are different. Mine are Shatara: panthers.
Shatara have lived for many years, isolated and content but it seems not all of them think the same. A small group has gone rogue. They have left to see what’s in the outside world and to better their position and status.
Meet the pack:
JARMIL: He’s the leader. Cold, hard and ruthless. He thinks he’s superior to all other beings, and rules by intimidation.
KATSUO: Angry and disillusioned, he left with Jarmil to escape his violent father, but he’s discontented with the way things are now.
NAHUEL: The youngest member of the pack. He’s been following Jarmil since he was a teenager. Not treated well by the others, except Katsuo, they are friends.
What will happen to them? Find out in Janalya.
I want to thank Jen for inviting me onto her blog today, and thank you for visiting with me. I hope you enjoyed meeting my pack. I look forward to hearing what you think about them.
Thank you, Marie! The pleasure was mine!
