grimidea (1)This might be a silly question,  ’cause duh…you live in an island full of ancient history and creatures from God-knows-where, but I want to know…so, Andrew, where do you get ideas for your stories?

The greatest source for my ideas are dreams. Whatever the hell is going on inside my brain at night, it creates some wonderful worlds and characters who are only now beginning to appear.

You say wonderful, but if my dreams would create horror stories, I might not be brave enough to sleep at all!!! Says a girl who’s sleeping with all the lights on and a knife under her pillow…yeah, I, too, have my demons, but I bet they’re pretty tamed compared to yours 🙂 Okay, what was the hardest part of writing your books?

Finding the time to be able to write in silence.

I so feel you! I’m sure my family has a secret way of knowing when I try to write and want to be left alone…If you could go back in time, what would you say to your younger version?

5 – 13 – 22 – 27 – 34 – 47. Saturday June 26th 2010

12 – 15 – 25 – 34 – 38 – 44. Saturday May 30th 2015

And – Take the red pill. Take it…take it now!

Lol! Could you give us a one sentence synopsis of your story?

Daemon Grim – Satan’s cure-all remedy for annoying irritations (Caution – will cause heart failure and death).

Do you have any words of wisdom for the other writers?

Be true to yourself and always work hard to improve your craft.

That is so true! Favorite quote?

“My goal is simple. It is a complete understanding of the universe, why it is as it is and why it exists at all.” – Stephen Hawkin

Oh, I love that one! We’re almost finished, but here are some quick ones before you go…

I love…Lucy.

I hate…Mondays

Favorite person…The Mad Hatter.

Favorite creature…Predator.

Night or day? Night.

Cat or dog? Cat.

I believe…In miracles. Where you from, you sexy thing, sexy thing, you.

(I bet you’re singing it in your head right now. You are, aren’t you?) Go on…admit it 🙂

Haha! I’m not admitting anything! Humming half-laughing as she walks away…

…Thank you so much being with us today, Andrew! I wish lots and lots of creepy moments for you and hope we will see you here again when your next horror story is ready to be shared with the world!

Cheers,

Jen x

About jenniferloiske

Jennifer Loiske lives in Finland in Naantali, which is a small sunny town on the southwest coast. She is a pre-school teacher by profession but she stayed at home when her youngest daughter suffered brain fever, which developed severe epilepsy in 2004. She is a workaholic Teen/Young Adult author, who loves dark fantasy, teen movies, chips and candies and warm sunny days. She’s also very keen on charity work and a big part of her royalties goes to the charity; mainly to help families with epileptic children but also to the epilepsy units in the hospitals. As a huge fan of dark novels Jennifer's bookshelf is full of books from L.J. Smith, Alyson Noel, Stephanie Meyer, Chloe Neill, Michelle Rowen, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Amanda Hocking and Lauren Kate. She’s also a huge fan of music from Evanescence, Linkin Park, Within Temptation, OneRepublic and Disturbed. But her hunger for music is endless and depend on what mood she’s in or what kind of book she’s working on. She can be pretty much an omnivore when it comes to music.
